108, Do it because you like it or because you have to

There are some tasks that we enjoy doing and so they get done. Than there are things that we do not enjoy doing, and so we often put them off.

I enjoy selling but hate bookkeeping. I am sure that we all have love hate feelings towards different necessary job functions of a self employed business person.

So how do you get the unpleasant things done?

Ideally you could have a partner who enjoys doing it, or you could hire an employee to do it, or you could have another company do it for you. $$$$$ lossed????

What do you do????

There is a difference between successful companies and failing companies. Successful companies surround themselves with talent that applies to their business, pay for the talent, and farm out the rest. They understand farming out non-core functions are not a cost, but an investment.

I am a software developer. I don't do sales. I can do it in a pinch, and have been successful, but I don't like it. I also have an intense for 1 technical support. I have a partner who does the sales and marketing. We just hired someone for level 1 support. Believe me when I say the money I am paying someone else to do what I dislike is money well spent.
