Are you REALLY looking to stock inventory? Most manufacturers and wholesalers are going to want to sell you product at wholesale, which you then inventory and sell. You can really get burned if you make bad buying decisions. Visit the ThomasRegister for this type of business.OR are you looking to offer merchandise in an affiliate type arrangement, where you earn a commission off the sales from other manufacturer's? If you live in an area that has street sellers or large flea markets, you should check out their merchandise. Yes they are getting it from somewhere and want to make money off what they are selling, but if you buy in bulk (10 or 20 items) they will probably cut you a deal. This way, you get some cool stuff that you 1. don't have to stock up on, 2. don't have to set up a credit account with a wholesaler, 3. don't get stuck with 100 shirts that no one wants to buy. You can still make a profit, and if you find out that something is a big seller, then set out to find that wholesaler. Good luck.
