I'm looking for some place to buy supplies to make gift baskets but I don't want to buy 100's at a time. Anyone got any ideas? I'd like to make a few just to try it out.

I believe we may be able to help each other. I am in the candle business and am looking into expanding. I made both gel and wax candles. My biggest seller is my 4 oz. gel candle. It comes in a cute quilted jar with a decorative dome lid. This could be something you could put into your gift baskets. I have others too. I think the America's Mart shows are especially big for gift basket companies to do their purchasing. The most popular are their Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings and their Gourmet Mart (for the food stuffs). The next Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings is in July. The site is at http://www.americasmart.com and the show dates section is at http://www.americasmart.com/ama/market/ You can buy a lot of their exhibitors' goods online now, although you do have to be able to provide a reseller id to access everything. You can, however, go and get a good feel for what sort of products are available.
