I have just become a Notary Signing Agent in California. Is there anyone out there in the business that can offer some advice?

What do you want to know. I've been a notary signing agent for some time now. It can be a profitable, but somewhat complicated business to run. What are you interested in finding out?

I appreciate your response. I just wanted some sound advice from someone that has been doing the business for a while. I am marketing myself and things are going pretty well, but there is always room to learn. I have received most work from casual networking. I have signed up with the agencies, but I have not received any calls. I have contacted the list of people and companies listed on NNA. If there is advice you can send my way, I appreciate it.

Make sure to sign up with lots of advertising agencies, like "www.123notary.com" and "www.notaryrotary.com". Make sure to pay whatever fees are applicable and get the best listings possible. Are you with the NNA? If not look into them and get certified with them. Let me know what else you are doing...I'm interested in seeing your success materialize.

I am signed up with NNA and I am certified. I have signed up with Notary Rotary but I did not pay. I read the forums and I noticed others are saying to pay the fee as well. Now hearing it from you I guess it works. I will go back and pay. I appreciate your help.

Good stuff. Make sure to sign up with 123 Notary as well. I'm going to ask my mother to get on here and talk with you. She's done many signings and has some good information about signing agencies, and title companies etc.

I've signed up with notaryrotary.com & 123notary.com & they're great. I haven't received anything from the NNA. I'm reconsidering continuing my membership with them.
