What does your business do?
We provide Lawn and Landscaping with a "small" town courtesy. We treat every client like they were our "family". We supply ideas on landscaping and lawn care, as well as snow removal, fertilizing,brush and debris removal, and also tree trimming and removal.
When and why did you start the biz?
I started my business because I was getting laid off from my full-time job. I already had this idea in mind when I was in grade school so I decided to try and my my dream come true. It finally did in July of 2006.

It is run out our Garage
What's the toughest part of running your biz?
Keeping the mowers and the equipment working. Trying to get everyone done at approximately the same time.
What's the most fun part?
It is great to see a project form in your head or on a piece of paper and then seeing it finally finished in real life. Also, I think what makes the job worth it is helping those in need when then can't do it themselves.
Anything you would have done differently?
I would have started out with a little better equipment don't rely on other people to get what you need.
What's next on the horizon for your biz?
I would like to expand in a few years and be able to hire a few more people.
What advice do you have for others?
Go out and see if you can get accounts before you go and spend alot of money on equipment and then find out it's not for you or you don't have enough business to supply your need. Also, make sure that if you hire somebody you know (family member, friend, etc.) They know who the "Boss" is don't let them 'low ball" your customers where you don't make any profit. Always look at the property before giving a estimate.
