Retail Business PricesPAGE 2Make It a Win-Win SituationWhy not keep your retailers in the loop? You could link your site to theirs (if they have one) or list them on your website as locations where customers can purchase your product. Talk with your retailers and work out a business agreement that will benefit everyone. For instance, if you link the online customers back to the retailers, you can still get that profit from the retailer. By doing this, you not only expand your market, but you also expand your retailers' market. Plus, you keep your "bread and butter" relationships healthy. Everybody wins! Now, I'm not saying your retailers receive and don't give here. They should provide some capital for this agreement. Certainly your retailers and you - or your attorneys - can come up with an agreement that would satisfy all parties involved. Don't get me wrong�I think competition is healthy and is a must, especially for consumers. However, in this particular case, you'd be cutting off the hand that's been feeding you. continued
