Driving Uber on Sundays?

Uber is an international civilian transportation company which has become substantially popular and infamous in the same time. Today most big cities around the world provide Uber transportation, while there are town, states and countries where the service has been banned as it seriously hurts the taxi companies' business. While the whole idea stems from the need to be transported from point A to B the cheapest and easiest way possible, Uber had to become more professional in terms of its own service. Today it's more or less like any other taxi company: it has its own policy, guidelines, tariffs and further expectations towards its drivers. But one thing is for sure, if you are doing Uber making an income depends on a whole lot of things:

Your actual location: it's the location which counts the most, as the passengers view the app and close the driver which is the closes to them. Of course there are locations, which are better while others are not that good.

The time-frame: there are high-traffic and low-traffic times in every city, district and region. If you know about any factors which have a high traffic, then it's the place to be. Of course these are subject to so many factors which may also be taken into consideration.

Driving during the weekends

There are tons of forums which discuss the pros and cons of weekend driving: while there are regions where the need for Sunday Uber is substantially higher ( Sunday early morning hours for instance must work great for those working in party-areas as many people call Uber to get back home) there are regions where Sunday traffic is close to zero. Of course it's something that cannot be generalized. Airports, railway stations, bus stations may always be great spots for Uber drivers to be. All in all, there is just no general answer to the question whether it's worth working uber on Sundays or weekends: while some place might bring tons of traffic in that timeframe others would not. Each and every Uber driver has to have a good knowledge on the weekend traffic in their own area and make their choice accordingly.

Driving during national holidays

This is another hot topic on the forums: if a city is large enough to have lots of people who would like to get someone and they are limited because public transportation has been stopped due to celebrations, then Uber must be a great choice for them to go for instead of getting late from work. That's why it might be a good idea to work during national holidays

About hot spot locations

We all know about hot spots: these are the spots where it's always profitable for a cab driver or for an Uber driver to wait for passengers. These include city centers, stations, airports, subway stations and they can also change according to holidays, renovations and other emergency situations which would limit public transportation in any given area.

All Uber drivers are advised to do their research and find out where and when it's best to work in their own area.
