WHAT YOU DO
Reflexology works on the principle that reflexes in the feet, hands, head, and other parts of the body are related to each and every organ and part of the body. Foot and hand reflexology is the type most often practiced. Reflexology should not be confused with massage, although some reflexologists may add massages to their services.
According to the International Institute of Reflexology, the Original Ingham Method of Reflexology is used primarily for releasing tension. It helps normalize body functions but is not intended to replace conventional medical treatment.
