502FM LLC, is an internet radio station which sells advertising spots to other businesses or individuals looking for a more affordable and different marketing strategy then the old forms of marketing strategies most businesses use today.

Where's your office?
Our office location is located in 2 spare rooms in my current house.
What's the toughest part of running your biz?
The toughest part about running 502FM LLC, is getting other businesses to use us as a marketing strategy. They don't take us seriously because of our current circumstances.
What's the most fun part?
The most fun part about working in internet radio is interacting with all the listeners that tune into our radio station. Chatting with our listeners through our website, and listening to the calls we receive on a regular, makes it worthwhile!
Anything you would have done differently?
If I knew what I know now, I would have started my business a lot sooner due to the sluggish economy we have now, it seems no one is willing to give new business a chance to start-up.
What's next on the horizon for your biz?
My next horizon is to move our radio station into a new location where the staff can be more comfortable and our future businesses that want to use us to advertise for them can come into our studios and get the job done, or have a meeting in a better location.
What advice do you have for others?
Never give up on something you put so much time into, and have a dream about. I haven't given up yet, but have so many times, but I know I can make it work, and so can you! Just don't ever give up!

I read posts from others as well as read important information that Idea Cafe gives to people like myself. Reading about business owners such as myself get they're company off the ground and up and running motivates me to do the same, to get my business running and as successful as the ones I read here.

Is there any one person or event in your life that led
you to go into business for yourself?
I have been a DJ since I was 12 years old, I am now 21 going on 22 and I've been in the music industry for a while. As I grew up I interned for a local radio station and like it a lot. I knew how to do HTML, and know a lot about computers, and seen other internet radio stations and wanted to create my own. So me being a DJ and loving music and wanting to share it with as well as interact with other people while doing it made me want to go into business for myself.
